Showcase: Correct use of Moodle as an assessment tracking tool

Taken from AS and A2 English language courses from SGS college.

Since September 2013 Moodle assessments have been in place.  This consists of questions based upon each topic area covered within each unit.  This provides students with continuous assessment and provides the teacher with valuable information regarding the acquisition of knowledge and understanding of the subject.  Because the questions are broken down into a matrix, progress of individual student can be effectively monitored.  Students who are having difficulty with a particular area can be targeted by the teacher and other support systems can be put into place.
